The 14th International Congress of WCPT will open in Barcelona Spain in just 11 days. There is still time to make plans to come and join over 3000 other physical therapists from 83 countries for the largest programme in the history of WCPT congresses. The WCPT Congress is only held once in 4 years and less frequently close to home within the European Region. Few, if any, other events can be compared to the unique experience of an international congress – a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you can't attend the full congress, why not consider coming for one or 2 days?

WCPT's congress is the premiere forum for the presentation of physical therapy research. There will be over 1200 platform presentations and 600 posters in Barcelona. The programme is extensive and will include:
a.. Sessions everyday on low back pain, musculoskeletal subjects and neurology and sessions during the 5 days on a wide range of subjects including electro physical agents, aquatic therapy, paediatrics, aged care, sports, community based rehabilitation, exercise physiology, primary health care, epidemiology, women's health and others
b.. Symposia on key topics central to physical therapy practice including pain, motor learning and balance
c.. Developmental sessions enhancing professional practice including an abstract writing workshop, symposia on qualitative research, ICF
d.. Panels and round tables providing opportunities to discuss broad professional issues including Evidence Based Practice, Community Based Rehabilitation, Ethics, Education
The daily rate at ^295 and 2days at ^590 are very good value. On Sunday and Monday you will have 2 full days of programming and an opportunity to visit the exhibition (open Mon-Wed). On Wednesday there is another full day of programming.
Join us in the beautiful city of Barcelona for a wonderful programme! Registration begins on site at 0800 on Saturday 7th June and opens daily at 0800 from 8th-12th June at the Palau de Congressos (Av Reina Maria Cristina. s/n 08004 Barcelona) The Opening Ceremony and reception will be at 1800 on 7th June and the full scientific programme will begin at 0900 Sunday 8th June.
