biosketch: I was born and raised in Rovereto (Trento). My background is in physiotherapy, but I have also obtained an MSc in "Applied Cognitive Neuroscience" (University of Milan Statale) and an MSc in "Biostatistics" (University of Milan Bicocca). Additionally, I have completed numerous courses in the field of research methodology, such as the Clinical Research Core Curriculum with the GIMBE foundation, a specialization course in systematic review and meta-analysis of interventional research questions (University of Verona), a specialization course in systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy studies (University of Milan Statale), a specialization course in systematic reviews of predictive models (University of Utrecht), and more. Currently, I work as a clinical tutor at the BSc in Physiotherapy of the University of Verona, while also pursuing a PhD at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam. My research focuses on diagnosing and predicting spinal disorders (supervisor: Alessandro Chiarotto and Bart Koes). Apart from my PhD project, I am interested in meta-research, statistical analysis of observational and experimental studies, systematic reviews (with or without meta-analysis), predictive models (both prognostic and diagnostic), and everything related to the statistical field.
